Larry Stone is a California licensed psychotherapist (Marriage and Family Therapist, lic. #MFC33084). He has had extensive training in working with process and awareness for effective psychotherapy, is a graduate of the Gestalt Training Center of San Diego (with Erving & Miriam Polster), and has trained with the Pacific Gestalt Institute in Los Angeles. He strongly believes that the challenging work of real personal growth is best accomplished in an atmosphere of safety, caring, and support, and is dedicated to providing this for his clients. It is accessible to public transportation, about 2 miles from the 19th St. BART station, with a bus running down Grand Avenue from the station, and about a mile from Piedmont. It is a short drive from downtown Oakland, and is handicap accessible.
